SolidWorks a Cobra “Tuned by Chevy”  (click to see picture)

I hope that you can enjoy the visit to this AC Cobra Page.

You can find several technical information, pictures or drawings that I have used on my car.

I bought The Cobra in 1992 from the previous owner, but original is from 1986. It is DAX MK3.

Original was painted in white with red stripes but because I don't like the scheme, I changed for the more popular blue with white stripes.

Dark colors help to show the nice convoluted form of The Cobra, shadows go from black to white.

We did start with a carbureted Rover 3.5L engine. We decided to change it for a ‘87 V8 TPI 305 injection but we decided to build our own engine and this time a 350 Speed Density injection from Holley the so call HSR (Holley Stealth Ram) see pictures bellow of the progress, still under construction, but very soon will be run.

I will use the “S_AUJP-v4” EPROM but will be adjusted to the engine needs.

WORD of THANK’s

I have drastically changed the Cobra from the beginning. We changed not only the color, but almost everything in the car. Several people has been so kind to participate on this project like Aad, Henk, Peter, Adrie, Arie, my Wife, my Son’s and others that I don’t remember now.

WITHOUT YOU WAS THIS PROJECT IMPOSSIBLE TO REALIZE. THANKS!!!!!!!

A Cobra needs a lot of hoses and the corresponding Hose Clamps.

I have had a great support from Mikalor and they Damesa-Mikalor Group will Sponsor my project, by offering me a set of clamps. MIKALOR is now Officially my first Sponsor.

Andrew (North Europe Area Manager of Damesa-Mikalor) did visit my garage to wonder the Cobra.
